How is Saudi end of service benefit calculated in 2026?

Under Saudi Labor Law Article 84, ESB uses your last wage (basic pay plus fixed allowances). You earn half a month's wage for each of the first 5 years, and a full month's wage for each year beyond 5. Partial years are paid pro-rata. If you are terminated by the employer you receive the full amount; if you resign, Article 85 applies a reduction based on your years of service.

كيف تحتسب مكافأة نهاية الخدمة عند الاستقالة في السعودية؟

وفق المادة 85: أقل من سنتين لا تستحق شيئا، ومن سنتين إلى خمس سنوات تستحق ثلث المكافأة، ومن خمس إلى عشر سنوات تستحق الثلثين، وبعد عشر سنوات تستحق المكافأة كاملة. أما إذا أنهى صاحب العمل العقد فتستحق المبلغ الكامل بغض النظر عن مدة الخدمة (ما لم يكن الإنهاء بموجب المادة 80).

هل تحسب المكافأة على الراتب الأساسي أم الأجر الكامل؟

تحتسب على الأجر الفعلي (الأخير) الذي يشمل الراتب الأساسي مضافا إليه البدلات الثابتة المستحقة. وفق المادة 84 من نظام العمل السعودي.

File a free amicable settlement (Widdi) complaint with the Ministry of Human Resources (MHRSD) online for the city of your last workplace. MHRSD mediates within 21 working days; if that fails the case goes to the Labor Court via the Najiz portal, which can order full payment plus delay compensation and freeze the employer's accounts. You must file within 12 months of your employment ending, and you can file from outside Saudi Arabia.
